WE DO YOUR TRADEMARK SEARCH

Before an individual applies for a federal trademark, it is highly recommended they do an initial search to see if the trademark is available for registration.

Search results will be available to you within 2 days and will cover the following:

1. The up-to-date FEDERAL TRADEMARK REGISTER which includes information on all registered, pending, and inactive trademarks. This will include all intent-to-use applications as well.

2. The up-to-date U.S. STATE TRADEMARK REGISTER covering all 50 states.

3. COMMON LAW SOURCES, up to date listings on Google.

The cost is $239.

WE PREPARE YOUR TRADEMARK APPLICATION

Per your request, Trademarks, Etc. will prepare the trademarking forms on your behalf within 2 days. This will entail your application page, your drawing page, and samples of your specimens (if the application is based on a "use of the mark in commerce"). We will electronically forward the application onto you for your review, approval, and "e-signature." The application will then be electronically submitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office with their fee requirement of $275.

If the application is an "intent to use" one, meaning that the Mark is not in use yet, the PTO will require a "statement of use" form if they approve the application for registration. An additional filing fee of $100 must accompany the "statement of use" form. The PTO will notify you of this approximately 8-9 months after filing.

The cost is $149 + the $275 U.S. Patent and Trademark Office fee.
